There is already too much information out there. your advertisement flashing on the screen of  some individual who did not specifically ask to see it means the message is an intrusion. Unless, what you say can make the difference.

 

It is like a person who you have never met before walking up to you and introducing him/herself. A useless line does not interest you anyway because you have displayed no intent to engage with someone. However, if you cut out some crappy line and were to come across as sincere, may be creative to along with that, you might have a chance at engaging the person. This true whether you are at an office party, or a friend’s or at a bar.

 

Marketers are trying to accomplish this for their companies or the companies they represent all the time. Find out places where people are willing to engage and be there. It may not necessarily be where everyone is but that is where you should be. If you manage to create enough value for those people they will bring others that too in the best way possible.

 

They will tell the people who trust them hence your brand has a source more reliable than yourself to consumers out there. That means do not focus on just creating content but create content that matters to your consumers. Then, focus on partnering with a good agency to manifest your ideas. Also the partnership must help sharpen you ‘approach’ to your consumers.

 

This approach is based on placement. Before that is base don understanding of the inventory and consumer psychographics. Before that it is based on understanding the brand; which is the source of all actions you will take.
